Horrible after sales service!!! Unfortunately we bought over 1600 square feet of exotic wood from the Floor Show. The flooring is Brazilian cherry which was sold to us here in Winnipeg and manufactured by Vintage Flooring in Toronto. The floor has stress cracks and scuffs everywhere. The 25 year warranty was declined by Vintage since they assumed the winters have been too harsh in Winnipeg lately. If this is true, why does the Floor Show sell these products here after reassuring us that having a humidifier would suffice. They just wanted our money. It had been over three years since we have been requesting our floors be fixed to no avail. Both The Floor Show and Vintage have postponed and blamed us for the bad quality of floor that they sold. It had been an awful experience and I warn you to stay away from these companies that sell you what appears to be a great product and then run away after they make the sale and cash your cheque.

This was the worst customer service experience I've ever had! I thought I was ordering carpet from Costco but they use the Floor Show owned by Qualico. I started coordinating with The Floor Show in late May to have carpet installed the first week of August before moving into a home. It was imperative that carpet was installed before moving furniture into the upstairs bedrooms on August 11th. The sales person I dealt with was completely incompetent and unable to properly communicate details and manage this very simple project. The carpet install ended up being booked for the same day my furniture was moving in. That morning the installer was supposed to be at my home between 8:30-9:00 AM. I waited until 9:15 then contacted my sales person asking where the installer was. She told me that she'd find out and get back to me. When she got back to me, she said the installer was MIA (missing in action) and they were trying to locate him or find someone else. After 10:00 AM, I received a text message saying they'd have to install the next day. I sat at my new home for two hours that morning waiting for an installer they never intended to send. Read on... Absolutely furious, my wife went to the store to speak to the manager. He said the carpet wasn't even in the city yet. Our sales person had outright lied to me about the installer to cover up that she didn't get the carpet in on time. The Manager told my wife all the things she wanted to hear like how he would make things right, come up with a plan for us, and deal with the incompetent sales person we dealt with. He later offered us nothing but to install the carpet the next day at full price. At this point, we felt they didn't deserve our business. So even though it would be a major inconvenience to us, we cancelled our order all together and demanded our 50% deposit be refunded. His response was to simply email us saying he had refunded our deposit and will have a receipt mailed to us the next day (Tuesday August 12th). No apology or any other words. It's now a week later, Aug 19th and I still have not received the receipt. I contacted him again and he said he'd check with his assistant. They can't even mail a receipt on time! So the movers had to put all of our bedroom furniture in our living room and dining room (where we are now sleeping) until we can get carpet installed in our bedrooms by another company. It is absolutely inexcusable that we were lied to and inconvenienced to this extent. This company is registered with the Better Business Bureau where formal complaints can be made. Also, Costco is a very reputable company and wants to hear feedback from their Customer's on experiences they've had with companies that do work for them. Update 2014-08-26: We received the letter in the mail from The Floor Show confirming our deposit was fully refunded. We are now in the process of having carpet installed by another company.

Non existent after sales support. We had tile falling off the wall, after 5-6 calls we were told we were out of their warranty period and hung up on!

i'm very unhappy with a customer service. My order was placed 2 mths prior my renovation. In 2.5 mths came only 75% of order. Rest still waiting for another month.I got stuck in the middle of reno.If you want to buy anything from them, just make sure you do want to keep it and you do not have a need to return it. No returns accepted. But when you buy items they promising about 50% off on returns. I will never set foot in that store again!

Prices were fair and sales staff were knowledgeable of there product. Installer was fantastic. Explained what he was going to do and how long it would take. Conducted himself in a very pleasant and professional manner at all times. Thanks Mike.

Thank you floor show! I walked into the floor show knowing that I needed 850sf of flooring for my house. I know nothing about flooring, decor, color schemes and all the other things you need to think of when you buy flooring, I just thought it was buy what looks good and is cheap. Thanks to the wonderful sales people who helped me pick out flooring that would fit my budget and match my house home!
