I purchased a new security system from Intelife because I really wanted the automation side around the door locks and lights. The salesperson showed me the phone app which is excellent. I was not planning on getting the thermostat as the one in my house is pretty new. But I ended up getting it as well once she explained the money savings and being able to have it cut the temp down when I leave the house automatically. I am looking forward to seeing the reductions on my next gas bill. They were able to schedule the installation of my system on the same day and were done in just about an hour which was nice. The technician Adam took the time to review the system after he installed it and showed me how to set up the phone app. Overall, a really good experience and have been playing with it since. I may go back and have them install the video doorbell as well since we miss the UPS guy all the time too. I am amazed at how much technology has advanced over the years.

I purchased a security system last autumn because we live in a rural area. My only concern was the potential for equipment issues due to our remote location. This company had advertised that they had life-time warranties for their equipment with no service charges which was one reason I took a chance with them. I must say that I am very relieved. We had our first issue last week with one of our outdoor cameras and I called them. I told their customer service representative that I needed someone out quickly as we live on an acreage. She was able to send out an electrician here the next morning and just like that, everything is working again and free as promised. I normally do not leave reviews but I felt the need in this case. I hope I never have the need to call them again, but am quite thankful they were able to fix my camera right away and highly endorse them. Thank you.

The worst experience I've ever had with any kind of business. They promised to pay for the locksmith bill caused by their malfunctioning combination lock( I was locked out for three times), but I never heard any reply. I called their customer service for at least ten times but they always said the customer service lady is not available, and promised they would call me back, but nope. Very disappointed with this company and AVOID if you can!!!

We have had more issues with the installation and functionality of the Protectron product in the first month than in seven years with our previous security company. We purchased it through their agent, Intelife, via a door-to-door salesperson. Thankfully there was an appropriate response during our first deficiency-related episode. Intelife staff and service contractors were apologetic and courteous. Sadly, at present, we are in our third day of awaiting a return call from Intelife on our latest deficiency issue, which involves the panel sounding it's "tamper" warning at any given time for no valid reason. Instead of providing the "peace of mind" promoted by the Intelife sales and service people, I'm left wondering when it will go off yet again for no valid reason. Today we are further frustrated by the Intelife telephone answering system which announces they are open seven days a week, and the contradictory information on their website which states they are closed Saturday's and Sundays. Calling the parent Protectron company for service as a result of their agent, Intelife, being unavailable for service when needed, results in their answer that Intelife is the agency that has to respond to service needs and that Protectron cannot provide a service call. Way to go, Intelife and Protectron. Don't expect any referrals from us. We were considering a Protectron system for my wife's mother, but based on our latest experience, we will likely look elsewhere. If you want to go with Protectron, you might be better off dealing directly with parent company, Protectron, when considering the purchase of a security system. At least you might have a better chance of getting service when needed.

Got the product fast, sales girl was younger but still knew what she was talking about. Either way the equipment is much more advanced than my old Alarm Force system. Good deal!

My husband and I own a small vacation home just south of Edmonton and were looking for a video and alarm system since we are only up in Canada part time. While up here this summer, we had an Interlife help us quote a system for our home. The ability to look at and adjust things in our home was the big selling point for us. We had initially only planned to purchase the video system, but after listening to what else they offered, we decided to get the automatic door locks, the thermostat, and the flood option. As we are not up here much during the winter, we wanted to be able to control the temperature and it also tells us if there is a problem with the furnace. They also installed water sensors in case the water line leaks and a water turn-off valve. I really like having the ability to use the phone to watch the house while we are away for extended periods. Hope this helps anyone looking for reviews, as we really were impressed with both their offerings and how quickly it was set up in our cottage.

Not much on door to door salesmen, but this guy was very good; informative but not overbearing. I had been promising my wife I would get a security system for the house for years. I like that they offered a lifetime warranty on they system and free service with no money down. Great system for the money and love the phone app. Would definitely recommend!

The worst post purchase follow up I have ever experienced. Difficult to schedule install, system didn't work when installed - then the ignoring started. Ended up having to go to ADT directly and get one of their technicians in to program and initiate the security system which was challenging as they resist getting involved with dealer sourced files. Do not use Intelife.

I'm very happy with my new system. Sean was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions I had before I decided this was the best choice for my family. In my new neighborhood there has been an increase in break and enters. It's been a few weeks now since it was installed. It's very easy to use and I have had no issues with it. I feel much more safe knowing that I can get notifications on my cell phone if anything were to happen while I'm not home.

I had been discussing buying a security system with my husband for our new home for the last two months and we had an Intelife salesperson come to our door last week. Her prices were lower than our other quotes and I also liked that they have a lifetime warranty on the system. I really like the automatic locks and video doorbell because we can track our kids coming home after school while we are at work. It is bad enough not being home when they are but now at least I feel better that I can tell they are home safe. I haven't tried the gps part on my phone yet but want to set it up too. The installer showed my husband how to use it and I will update this review once I set it up on my phone. We really like the system and being able to watch and change things in our home from anywhere. Thank you :)

Good service! Sales guy was very friendly and helpful. I got my system put in the same day and the technician was quick and friendly. I recommend this company, paid $0 for the system.

Me and my other friends having service from Protectron installed by Intelife as they are dealer. When we got the service, we being told that there is no contract. The price is fixed for the service. They offered us free 6 months promotion and also sales guy told us that if you refer to your friend you can have another 6 months free and you can split with your friend . but after 6 months they sent us bill. We called customer service and they just said no you h ave only 6 months promotion and you are locked in for 5 years. ADT owns them Reliance Protectron. ADT is telling its in between us and Intelife. We tried to reach the sales guy from Intelife and he doesn't pick up the phone at all. We felt we being cheated by Intelife and also ADT. Me and my friends are thinking to go to consumer services to file complaint. Not satisfied at all.
