This is the third time this company comes and re-baits the traps in my yard for mice annually. Not only do they not re-bait all of the traps, but they don't even re-bait over half of them. And then? They use some of your traps to bait your neighbours. They charge full prices for less then half of a job. They most likely charged my neighbour full prices too FOR USING MY TRAPS,

Called about a wasp nest a foot from our front door under the siding. So far 3 visits apparently, although the third is claimed and I'm not seeing evidence he even came again. Wasps are coming and going 4 times as often now, perhaps feeling threatened and working overtime, I don't know. Employees are rude, surly, and today I was told to go away, it hasn't been long enough to send him back. Basically told to take a hike. Will never, ever call this company again, and will be sure to tell everyone I meet to avoid them also. I was told also to go ahead and call someone else and pay them to come, that's what I'm going to do. Horrid company!

This place is a joke. First of all, last year I tried looking for their location on 17 ave before they moved to this location. Lady I spoke with was clearly incapable of giving locations? I was outside the Plaza where Google map sent me and I called them to ask what store is nearby because I was not able to find them. Lady kept giving me the same intersection location which clearly I know where I am and just need another nearby store to locate exactly where they were. 5 minutes later, she "didnt know what else to tell me because she's good at giving locations," so pretty much, "it's my fault I couldn't find it." I try to avoid this place as much as I can, but unfortunately, I had to go back today. They moved to this new location and one lady helped me while another lady sat there and just been plain rude. Asked about an item which I thought they had, and lady sitting there, " We've never had anything like that," in such a rude manner. Went to pay for my things, had a $100.00 bill. The cashier asked the lady sitting if she had change and "ABSOLUTELY NOT," with her rude tone once again. They made lovely comments about none of them even carrying $100 bills in their wallets and goes to the back and asks anyone for change. She comes back and asks if she can see the bill for a sec to see if it's fake. Are you kidding me? You guys never seen a $100 bill before? And if you did have such protocols for counterfeit money, wouldn't you be more secrete about it? This place has such horrible service. If you're not a morning person or if it's that time of the month, you should consider working else where, other than making your customers feel as miserable as you first thing in the morning.

RESOLVED THE PROBLEM, and will use them again if needed - but was shocked when the bill included $273 travel costs, and I live within the city from which I got the service. It is unheard of to me that one pays for the travel costs of a service to get from their place of business to a customer's house!

Really good service, Polite and got rid of the bugs. May have taken two tries but at least they're gone. (Reason being they were hiding in hard to see cracks in the wall, that they wouldn't have seen, if I only mentioned them the first attempt.) Would highly recommend! Thanks Poulins!

I called the 24hr emergency line about a skunk issue at my house on Sunday March 9 2014 and the lady who answered advised me if I wanted someone out right away it would cost me $149 per hour OR I could go onto the next morning call back list for 9am. I chose the call back option for Monday morning and sure enough 9am came and went, no call. Noon hour came and went, still no call. Finally at 2pm, I had to be the one to call back and find out what was going on. I spoke to a girl named Lisa who told me that my request had been whited out as they couldn't read the information sent to the Winnipeg office so no one bothered to call me back. My advice to anyone is to STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! They lack any accountability towards their employee's mistakes. Don't just take my word for it, read the other forums on this company and you will see that I am not the only one who is disgusted by their ways of business. Go with another company who will actually follow through with what they say they are going to do. No foolin with Poulins my ASS!! The only fool here is anyone who accepts this backwards mentality company's service.

Exterminator failed to show up to our apartment, then lied to our landlord that he did and that we were not prepared properly for the extermination. Front desk said they will try to get in touch with the exterminator and call us back, never happened.

Moved in to my new apt in Oct. By Nov 1 I contacted the landlord and management company regarding bed bugs. 6 treatments later, I'm still finding bed bugs. Have I done all of the prep work, absolutely and likely way more than most! And no, I have not once been compensated by the landlord. Not Poulins problem, however, 6 TREATMENTS seriously? Poulins has been a minimum of 1.5 to 4 hrs late every single time! This is a huge problem considering I 1) work for a living 2) have a dog 3) making arrangements to be out of the apt for a min of 4 hrs after treatment is tough for myself and the dog when you can't guarantee what time they will be on site! When I have called to ask when they will be here cause they are already late, I was told by the, very young, rude and unprofessional, receptionist the following "I don't know, I cannot call him and call your management company not us". Yes, they've turned my apt upside down etc, not expected but understandable I guess. Just wish I would've known. Now I do it for them by removing the mattress and box spring as well as couch cushions etc and everything away from the walls. After 6 treatments and I'm told they will be coming back next week for another, I'm down with what needs to be done. However, after the last treatment, I was notified that I didn't prepare the apt well enough! Unfortunately, I have no choice on this whole matter. If I did, I'd never use Poulins again! I can't even move to avoid the issue any longer cause I'll just be bringing the damn bugs with me!

Our apartment started treatment for bedbugs at the end of December. It is now the middle of March, we are 7 or 8 treatments in and I still see activity from adult bugs. We do all the prep work the notice of entry for treatment requires and we do all the aftercare as well. I have had the PCO do a walkthrough with me a few times to verify the prep work and still come home to find broken and damaged belongings. Poulins also treats the apartment across the hall from me for bed bug infestation at the moment, however the treatment of our apartment and the one across the hall is separated by 4 days, so our apartments likely trade bugs, and Poulins gets to suck more work out of my apartment building. The amount of activity that is still around after the amount of treatments we have received leads me to believe staff negligence is to blame. If you are a landlord looking to use this company as a service, I would suggest you find another company if you expect to turn a profit from your rental unit. My apartment building spends over $300 per treatment per apartment and Poulins recommends every two weeks. My apartment building has turned a profit from me for less than 1/3rd of the current year. Food for thought.

Terrible service, upon re-entering my home there was broken glass all over my floor, as long as other belongings of mine being broken including a guitar which had been taken from its stand and left on the floor with a busted neck.Lap top had been tampered with. and a gaming headset with the ear-pieces busted off. Poulins refused to take responsibility claiming it wasn't their fault. If you want proper customer service this is not the place you will get it. They were disrespectful, immature and unprofessional.

The guy that came to my place to spray for bugs said everything was good. And then sends a report to my landlord saying we didn't do everything that we could to get ready. We followed their list to get ready. So because they lied to my landlord and us, our landlord is refusing to spray the second time needed. I've lived with these bugs for about 6 months now. Poulins is useless. They just lie and take your money but do nothing to help you.

I don't have any cockroach in my apartment, but they ask for 3 times this month, and the last time I have followed their list to prepared for the cockroach, I take out all of things from kitchen, and they said I didn't prepared and ask me to pay $101.85. They lied. I won't pay it! BAD!!!

Updated January 2017 It is what it is! No client deserves to be taken advantage of, no matter how long an employee has been employed for! I ended my employment immediately within 2 months with this company for a multitude of reasons. During a bedbug treatment Steve explained how to do the treatment so the Guarantee would become VOID for the client which means the bedbugs would not be gone and the client would have to then pay for a second, third, in some cases he said 8 treatments. Confirmed by Murray (manager) and other employees that this is how you make your daily quota and ensure that you have work in 2 weeks. Don't even get me started on the corporate commercial accounts. The moment I quit was when Steve said its called' pest 'control' not pest eradication or removal!" Murray and Steve have been overseeing and training Poulins employees for 20+ years.

I do not recommend anyone to use this service. After paying $300.00 to spray for ants in our front and back yard, only about half of them were killed. I called the customer service to ask what could be done as the last time i used them on another property nothing moved. I also told them that maybe because it was done on a very windy day and that it rained that night maybe that was the cause. I was told they would get back to me after they talked to the manager. They then offered to come and spray again at a cost of $125,00 plus charges. This is totally unsatisfactory as maybe they should have done this on a calmer day so that the application would have took. I am extremely disappointed that they don't seem to care about having good customer relations.

It is obvious that Poulin's is not using the right chemical sprays or steamers. It is clear that Poulin's is only this for the money and the Saskatoon Housing Authority is stupid enough to go along with it. I am so angry!!!!

$150 for a 20 minutes consult for a mouse problem. He identified one hole which might be the problem, threw some traps around, and was gone. We still have an issue and when we called the company back, were told there is no reduced rate for a return visit, and would have to pay $150 again for probably similar poor service. No thank you. Will take that money to the next competitor and hopefully have a better outcome.

I called them, they told me to text another guy and he'd answer me within 24-48 hours. I did and it is right, he give you one answerevery 48 hours. Extremely hard to get a hold of them just to get an appointment.

I paid almost $100 to do an estimate. I was told they would do some drilling and check the walls of our basement for carpenter ants then spray behind the finished basement wall.... well guess what... they just sprayed on the walls... i could do that myself.... and it would cost me $400 less!! whatta R-I-P O-F-F!

Service is a joke. Half of tech's aren't licenced. No proper ppe. Pests "always" come back. Their attitude to safety is a joke. Their prices are outrageous. Considering what they pay their technicians, I wouldn't expect a quality job or trust them in my home. Zero stars. If you want to get scammed? Don't say I didn't warn you. One star was mandatory or they would get none.

Piss poor customer service in regina, we have one poulins here and the front counter service woman is rude as the dickens, not only does it seem like im being kept in the dark on purpose but when i let her know i personally wasnt paying, she litteraly walked away mid- scentance. i am part of a VERY large group getting fumigated and we've all recieved the same treatment, including our landlord in charge of making sure everything goes well. Please do something about your terrable regina francishe as it makes the rest look very, very inconsiderate and amateur.
